The Eureka Village will encompass M.A.D.E, The Eureka Stockade Memorial Gardens and former George Farmer Meats Factory.  Embracing Ballarat’s diverse historical aspects, this Village will showcase numerous large and small scale events.

M.A.D.E – Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka

M.A.D.E is located on the historic site of the 1854 Eureka Stockade and explores the struggle for peoples' rights in Australia and around the world.

During BOAA, M.A.D.E will house a major solo exhibition.  It will also be a platform for many artist talks and workshops.

Eureka Gardens

This picturesque location will host numerous outdoor music events during the six week festival.  Australian bands will entertain visitors side by side with major outdoor installations.

328 Eureka Street

328 Eureka Street is the former location of the George Farmer Meats Factory.   This warehouse has lain abandoned for decades and has been transformed into a dynamic space featuring 20 large and small scale exhibitions, performance events, and will host the BOAA closing party.
