Ballarat will be divided into 3 Art Villages, incorporating outdoor and indoor projects, traditional gallery formats, and unconventional exhibitions.
Exhibitions and projects will be held around major venues of Ballarat. Major shows will be held at The Art Gallery of Ballarat, The Town Hall, Trades Hall, Fed Uni, Sturt Street Gardens, Police Lane, Alfred Deakin Place, The Mining Exchange, The Lost Ones Gallery and Camp Street.
The Eureka Village will encompass M.A.D.E Gallery, The Eureka Gardens, and 328 Eureka Street; the Former George Farmer Meats Factory. The Meats Factory will house 20 or more small and major exhibits, performance art work and artist talks.
Lake Wendouree is Ballarat's beautiful lake area. 36 sculptures will surround the banks of the lake, creating Australia's only complete wheelchair accessible sculpture trail. Adjacent to this, The Botanical Gardens will be over taken by major outdoor projects.
