Whitewashing History

Whitewashing History

Clancy Warner - SA

Human figures, animals, nature and the notions of totemism and animism inspire Clancy’s anthromorphic sculptures. The interaction and integration between the different beings as well as the different material usage is essential to the sculptures; the intent and energy that is infused within the work creates an artwork that you can feel, one that has movement, one that has life.

Clancy won the 2016 Palmer Sculpture Biennale with her work, Whitewashing History, which was then purchased by Robert Lyons.
